"In Memoriam " notices are inserted at the same rates, but when verses are added an additional charge of 6d per line is made for each line of space occupied. Notices of Death and Private' Interment without reference to either time or place of interment; prepaid 5s 64, booked Gs Bd. Notices of Death and Funeral, either where the funeral notice is a separate advertisement or is part of the death notice; prepaid Bs, bonked 9s. In computing the lines of space to be occupied, advertisers are notified that they can reckon six words to the line. All words over 30 are, therefore, charged at 6d for each eiz words. Notifications of Births, Marriages, and Deaths appearing in the Daily Times are inserted also in the Witness additional charge.
