THE SHARE MARKET.

DTTNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. Dredging shares have been quiet daring the present week on the Dunodm Stock Exchange. Electrics have been wanted at 9d, with sellers at Iβ 3d, and Rise and Shines have been on oiler occasionally at £1 2s. Waihi mining shares have been quoted on a fairly wide market. There was a buyer yesterday at £1 16e 3d and a seller at £1 17s 3d. Waihi Grand Junctions were a little easier, with a buyer at 15e 9d and a seller at 16s 9d Talisman Consolidated shares have been on the market at lla 6d, but no demand has been in evidence. Mount Lyolls were on offer on Thursday at £1 7s, and there has beon an occasional buyer of Consolidated Goldfiolds at 4s. The old and new issues of Dank of New Zealand shares have been in demand at £12 6s 6d and £17 10s respectively, without many sellers, and National Banks hare not been quoted. National and New Zealand Insurance shares have been even with recent prices, and Standards have teen in demand at about £1 19s 6d, with a eeller on one occasion at £2 Is 6d. A little business has been done in ordinary Hnddart, Parkers, which bavo varied considerably in price. There was a buyer when the market closed yesterday at £1 13s 6d, and a seller at £1 13s lid. Wostport Coals have been in firm demand at £1 9s 3d, but no sales have been effected. Westport-Stocktons nave been wanted at 8s 6d, and were on the market yesterday at 9s. A parcel of these shares was sold on Wednesday at 8s Bd. A eale of New Zealand Paper Mill shares was reported on Tuesday at 18a 9d, ex div., and there was a buyer yesterday at 18s 6d, with a eeller at 18s 10d. Oamaru Woollen stares have firmed slightly, reaching ~1 ils (buyers) and £1 12s 3d for sellers. Two parcels of Mosgiel Woollens changed owners early in the week at £5, but there have been ro further quotations. New Zealand Malay Rubbers have been on offer at £1 2s 6d and Dominion Rubbers at £1 18s, but no 'buyers cama forward in either case. Sale Reported: Ktiapoi Woollen (ord.), £6 17s.
