COLLEGE GIRLS' CONCERT

, ° Thero was a large attendance at Borne ' Hall Inst night in response to an invitation by Mrs Nisbet to an entertainment provided by the pupils of Archerfield College. The stage and the interior of the hall were tastefully decorated with flowers and foliage. The programme was a varied one, and was contributed entirely by the pnpils themselves. The items were of an enjoyable description, most of them evoking well-de-served applause. .Following are the items: March and the Russian National Anthem, by the pupils; piano solo ("To a Water Lily"),. Miss Nora Moloney; song ("Husheen"), Miss Gladys M'Kay; dance, by six junior pupils; physical drill with cymbals, by 10 senior pupils; piano duet ("Swinging"), Misses C. Glover and t L. Drewo; ball exercises, by 12 senior pupile; ''musical monologue ("England's Emblems" , }, iliss Kathy Watson; miruet, by eight senior pupils; class singing^—(a) "Too Many Books:" ft>) "Eventide," by jmpils; piano eolo ("Btrtterfiv"), Miss M. Graham; piano solo ("Sonata in F Minor, Ist November,' , (Beethovon), Miss - Helen Watson; piano solo ("The Two Skylarks") Miss G. M'Kay; scenes from "Pygmalion and Galatea," in which the following took pnrt:-—Misses G Gray, M. King. M. Gawn, N. Mo-loney, I. M'Queen, K. Watson, and D. Smith. A collection in, aid of the Presbyterian Orphanasre resulted in a substantial sum being r(ypivrd.
