OTAGO ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the committee of the Otago Lawn Tennis Association was held on Monday night. Mr B. B. Couston occupied the chair. The Secretary reported that all arrangements had been made in connection with the schools tournament, which would commoneo at the Otago courts next Saturday morning. The Secretary reported that four deben-ture-holders had presented their debentures to the association as a donation, and that 15 debenture-holders had offered to forgo their interest, on debentures during the period of tho war. —Letters of thanks to be sent to these donors The Secretary submitted a list of clubs that wore prepared to take part in friendly olub matches. • It was resolved that the matter of compiling a roll of honour of players be- left in the hands of Sir-. Harraway. Messrs S. N. Brown and T. Somerville wore appointed to fill the two vacancies on the committee. Tho New Zealand Association forwarded a report of the annual meeting of the association, and stated that the suggestion made by the Otago Association that the New Zealand Association should forgo subscriptions from tho affiliated associations during -the period of the war had been agreed! to at the annual meeting. The following sub-committees were, elected: —Match—Messrs Nicolson, Wilkie, and Grogory; Grounds—Messrs R. S. Black, S. N. Brown, J. D. Millor, T. Be.erg, and T. Somervillc- Finance —Messrs A. E. Harraway, R. S. Black. B. B. Couston, R. B. Brown, and A. M'Millan. CLUB MATCHES. , Senior. s It has been decided to continue to follow tho system of the past two seasons —to leave the arrangement of senior matches to the club secretaries. Junior Grade. November 10. —Arthur Street A v. Anderson Bay, at Bay; North-East Valley A v. Roslyn, at North-East Valley; North-East Valley B t. Port, at Port; Hanover v. Arthur Street B, at Hanover; Caversham v. Cosy Dell, at Caversham. November 24. —Arthur Street A v. Roslyn. at Roslyn; North-East Valley A v. Anderson Bay, at Bay; Port v. Arthur Street B, at Arthur Street; North-East Valley B v. Caversham, at North-East Valley; Hanover v. Cosy Dell, at Hanover. December 8. —Arthur Street A v. Cavershara, at Cavorsham; Port v. Anderson Bav, at Port: Roslyn v. Further arrangements' re tho number of players in teams, etc., and; any alteration in the dates of play whioh may be found necessary are left to the club secretaries. The North-East Valley Club proceeded to Mosgiel on Saturday to try conclusions with the Taieri Club, but the -weather drove the players indoors. A social afternoon and evening , were spent in the Oddfellows' Hall, where the Taieri ladies provided tea. Music, singing, and dancing made the hours fly merrily until train time.
