PROPERTY SALE. Messrs J. Samson and Co. held a sale of property on behalf of the trustees in the '. estate of the late Mrs M'Gaviri«'at the corner of George and Duke streets, yesterday.' There was a largo attendance, and the sale was most successful. The house, comprising seven rooms.anda section of 27 poles, realised £111. / 1 Bidding was brisk, , opening at £800, and rising by £25 bids until £1100 was reached*, when Mr Campbell offered another £10, and the property was knocked down to him. The furnituro , .brought very good prices, there being a keen desire on the part of those assembled to secure many of the lots put up.
