(Received Sept. 19, at 0.25 a.m.) A meeting of retail butchers discussed the serious position in regard to the meat supply, and resolved that it was necessary to take immediate steps to conserve and increass the supply.
SYDNEY, September 18. The dry spell has broken, with general heavy rains.
