OTAGO WOMEN'S PATRIOTIC ASSOCIATION. ST. KTLDA BRANCH. Work goes on steadily, at St. KUda. Donations of clothing will be gratefully received for the Rev. Vincent King's mission house. The following goods were packed last week: —ls pairs socks, 165 service towels, 16 housewifes, 132 soap bags, 126 handkerchiefs, 23 shirts, 6 holdalls, 50 tea towels, and 8 service bags. NJB. VALLEY WOMETTS ASSOCIATION. The weekly sewing meeting was held on Thursday afternoon and evening. The following work was completed :—For Early Settlers' Hall: 15 pairs socks, 12 balaclavas, 72 service bags, 1 suit pyjamas. From the pupils of the Upper Junction School (per Miss Dippie): 6 tea towels, 3 pairs socks, 3 handkerchiefs. For Red Cross rooms: 24 dozen swabs, 1 dozen pairs slippers. The following donations aro acknowledged: Dominion Gift Fund—Mis Bradley, Miss Bradley, Mrs Bird, Mrs H. Thompson, Mrs Millier; money for funds, Miss Inglis; ward slippers, Mrs Barcley. On Thursday evening there wfll be no evening session. WORK AT MORINTNGTOR. Ninety-six balaclava caps, 2652 service bags, 200 pairs of socks, 360 handkerchiefs, 360 tea towels, 168 soap bags, and a number of day and undershirts and magazines were sent from tho Mornington Council Chambers last week to the Early Settlers' Hall. The ladies of the Presbyterian Association sent their fortnight's wort: 245 service bags, 19 tea towels, and 7s 6d, their tenth monthly contribution to the Dominion Gift | Parcels. The pupils of the school sent their week's gifts—l balaclava cap, 3 service bags, 1 eye • bandage, 1 pair of enffs, 4 face cloths, 2 pairs of socks, 2 handkerchiefs, and 1 crirdlo. Thanks are due to Messrs J. Thomson, Lewis, and Tombs for help with the packing. A quantity of good warm clothing was received for. the relief of the soldiers' dependents. Misses Rattray and Geerin wll be at tho chambers on Thursday from 2.30 p.m. to receive gifts of socks, balaclava caps, and other comforts for the soldiers. Donations of money are asked for to supply shirts i oov fighting men while on furlough in England. Gifts have been received from the following:—Christmas and Dominion Parcels—Mrs Aikman, Presbyterian Ladies' Association, Mrs Austin, Mr 3 Telfer, Mrs Stevenson, Mrs M. Henderson (Eglinton), Mrs Jeffs, Mrs Harvey. Miss Lake, Mrs Ford, and Miss Ashd-oft, "Sale of Bag," collecting boxes, and Little Maggie Reay. Lady Liverpool Fund: Mesdaines Jackson, Watte. T. Wren, M. Henderson (Eglinton), Abbot. Millar, Maclatchey. Misses MT/aren, Patov (3), Asheroft, Anderson, Presbyterian Ladies' Association, and Mornington School pupils.
