NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION.
The fourth annual report of the Dominion of New Zealand Bowling Association states that the membership of the association consists of 17 centres—North island 8, South Island 9. Tho clubs affiliated to the association number 215, being an increase of two on last year. A number of entries have failed to send in returns of the membership of clubs; consequently it is impossible to give the actual number of members. Tho figures available- for the year ehow 10,4-23 members, as against 10,437 last year. These, however, are not complete. The credit balance has decreased during the year. The funds should really be greater than shown in the balance sheet, as levies from a good many clufo are etill owing. In accordance ■with clause 1 of the constitution of rules, the headquartera of the association for tho ensuing year will be at Dunedin. Tha association toiirnament was held in Wellington in January, and record entries for each event were _ received—l 36 rinks, 208 pairs, and 210 singles. An electric lig-ht tournament was held on two evenings during tho week, for which 32 rinks entered, 'lie profit from tho tournament amounted to £550. which sum was distributed as follows: —War Relief Association. £300; Y.M.C.A., £150; Returned Soldiers' Club, £50: St. John Ambulance, £50.
