RUGBY. SECONDARY SCHOOLS' MATCHES. (Pee United Pbess Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, July 28. The Waitalri High School first fifteen were defeated to-day by the Christchurch Boys' High School by 21 points to 6. Christchurch had slightly the better of the game all through, but the iscore would not have been so high except for Waitaki's mediocre tackling. Their passing was brilliant, but mistakes cost them several tries. Waitaki's points consisted of two penalty goals, both kicked by Kerr. The Waitaki second fifteen were much too good for Christchurch Boys' High School second team, and won by 11 points to 5. Kibblewhito scored two tries and Rainey one, the first named converting his second try. CHRIST'S COLLEGE v. OTAGO BOYS' HIGH SCHOOL. Owing to the state of the weather on Saturday and the condition of the ground at Oarisbrook, the match between Christ's College and Otago Boys' High School was postponed. It will be played at Carisbrook to-day, commencing at 3 o'clock. On Saturday evening the two teams were entertained by the Otago Boys' High School Old Boys' Association at a dinner at the Leviathan Hotel. Mr J. Mallard occupied the ohair, and there was an attendance of about 60 lads and old boys. The gathering was a very pleasant and cordial one, and should do a great deal to increase the feelings of good fellowship that exist between the two schools. At the close of the gathering the boys were taken to the Octagon Theatre, where they greatly em'oyed the picture entertainment on view.
ASSOCIATION. In consequence of wet grounds all Association football matches were postponed on Saturday.
