Climo, a wellknown resident of Henderson, was found in tho scrub with a wound in tho back of the head, evidently caused by a g-unshot Investigations by the police indicate suicide a doctor being of opinion that the wound was caused by an explosive. The deceased who was 42 years of age, lived alone, and had been in Hi-health. He left a letter to a brother and sister in England to the effect that if they did not hear from him again 1 would bo looked after. Ho also bade them good-bye. A girl, ogadl 14 months, the daughter of Captain Asa. Whitney, died as the result of eating quinine tabloids, which her father kept on a table in a bottle for his own use. The doctor stated at the inquest that the tabloids were very sweet and agreeable to the palate. If a child of 14 months swallowed two or three the result would be fatal. Tho coroner (Mr G.
