PRINCESS THEATRE
Tho "star" attraction at the Princess Ineatro to-night will bo one of a nature foreign to ordinary vaudeville, marking the first occasion upon %yhich a genuine star of the operatic stago will appear in colonial. vaudeville. Sisnor Antomo Moli. nari is accounted by his countrymen in Milan as being ono of tho most brilliant of tho younger tenors in Italian opera. Molinari's voice has the same suavity and lyric quality that distinguishes men like Caruso and Capolli from tho ruck, auG most people who have heard him remark that lie is a genuine rival to tho latter singer. The Auckland Star critic wrote on the occasion of his last appearance: "Tho inspiration that gave the people the opportunity of hearing, through such a voice, snatches of grand opera of sainted memory, had not missed its mark." Signor Molinari 'will sing in English "Let Mβ Like a Soldier Fall" (from Maritana); in Italian, " Vesti La Guba " (from Pagliacci); and .in French "La Marseillaise." In addition he wil. sing with Signora Molinari several duets, including "Somewhere a Voice is Calling." Two other new acts are announced. Billy and Doris, a pair of clever English dancers, will show something novel in the terpsichorean art, and Vandinoff and Louie will reappear. Several of the most popular of last week's acts, including Skipper Francis, will provide new entertainment.
