Tho secretary of the Electric Company reports that, owing to tho Kawarau. River boing in high flood, the dredge was closed down on tho 14th inst., till the river recedes 1 sufficiently for dredging operations to be resumed. TALISMAN CONSOLIDATED COMPANY. The first dividend since the recent reconstruction of the Talisman Consolidated~Company of a shilling per share, absorbing £17,250, has been declared. Tho total dividends and bonuses since the reconstruction of tho lato company reach £1,064,720, and the total value of tho bullion won from tho mine amounts to £2,666,957.
