FATALITIES.
(Pkb Unitkd Pukes Assooiatiox.) AUCKLAND, April 16. Harry MCabe, a fireman employed by tne Auckland Farmers' Freezing Company was louuel dead in the stokehold under circumstances which suggest that ho was electrocuted. Hazel Tonson, seven years of age, was knocked down and killed by a taxi-car driven by Edward Victor Nelson, who states that the child ran from behind a tramcar. Ho applied the brakes, but the car skidded and struck tho child. T , . n , TAIHAPE, April 16. lno headless body of J. V. M'Donnld aged about 32 years, was found on Sunday at tho foot of a high cliff on the rryer bed at Winiata in an advanced state ot decomposition. It is supposed to be a case of suicide.
