WORLD'S PRESS CONGRESS

SYDNEY SESSION POSTPONED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. Australian and N.Z Cable Association. SYDNEY, April 16. (Received April 16, at 9.10 p.m.) Mr Holman has announced tliat the World's Press Congress has postponed the Sydney session from March, 1918, to Easter, 1919. America having become involved in the war largely contributed to the decision. Mr Holman promises to continue Government support and co-opera-tion in making the 1919 meeting successful. . In the meantime there will be a temporary cessation till towards the end of the present year of activities on the part of the Australian and New Zealand executives.
