(Received April 16, at 0.5 a.m.) A French official message states: " We have organised the conquered ground between St. Quentin and the Oise, and progressed south of the Oise on a plateau north of Lower Guinchy. "Our artillery is most active against the German defences of St. Gobain and the Upper Coucy forests." AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE ENEMY. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association and Router. Admiralty, per Wireless Press. LONDON, April 15. (Received April 16, at 0.5 a.m.) A German evening official message says: "Repeated strong British attacks between the Scarpe and Bullecourt failed, with heavy losses."
