Ihe amount of sickness in tho military camps at present is less than a quarter of the_ amount recorded "at the corresponding period last year. The position is regarded by the medical authorities as very satisfactory-. There are no eases of measles in tho hospitals, and colds and influenza are not prevalent. An epidemic of gastro-enteritis was experienced at Featherston'at this time last year, but it has not recurred. It is considered _ that the sickness •is likely to increase with, the approach of winter, but the indications are that the position will be better than in other war winters. TWENTY-EIGHTH REINFORCEMENTS. MOBILISATION PROCEEDING. (Pbb Uhited Press Association.) WELLINGTON, April 13. The mobilisation of the Twenty-eighth Reinforcements is now proceeding, and should be completed on Monday. The quota from Wellington City and suburbs some 200 strong, went in this morning.
