ASSUMING CONTROL OF THE ATLANTIC OCEAN. Router's TelegTami NEW YORK, April 12. It is announced that the American navy is assuming control of the Atlantic and the Carribean Sea. neuter's Telegrams. WASHINGTON, April 13. (Receaved April 14, at 1.20 a.m.) Conferences between the British, French, ajid American naval representatives continue. It is presumed that the object is the withdrawal of the Entente warships from Western waters, leaving the task ef policing them to the United States. lit is proposed that tha United States shall be allowed to use the Bermuda and other British bases to facilitate operations.
