Australian and N.Z. Cable Association- . LONDON, April 12. Sir Douglas Haig reports: The weather is wet aijd stormy. We attacked this morning and captured two important positions northward of the Vimy Ridge and astride the Souchez River, taking prisoners. ' We drove off two night attacks against the northern end of tihe Vimy Ridge with heavy German, losses'. We made progress south of the Scarpe River.
