RUSSIAN REVOLUTION.
THE CRISIS PAST. WOMEN'S SUFFRAGE TEMPORARILY DELAYED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. PARIS, March 26. The Petit Parisien's Petrograd correspondent had an interview with M. Kerenski, who said : " The situation is still serious, but we have passed tlio crisis. Women's suffrage will not be introduced for the election of the Constituent Assembly owing to insufficient time to effect such a reform." REFORMS AND INQUIRIES. PETROGRAD, March 26. The Government has appointed a commission to inquire into offences by former Ministers and civil and military officials. A movement has been begun by Russian church leaders and a committeo of liberal priests to organise reforms. Barnabas, an ignorant gardener, who was appointed to be Bishop of Tobolsk by Rasputin, has already been deposed.
FRESH APPOINTMENTS
IMPERIAL FAMILY INELIGIBLE.
ROME, March 26. Advices from Petrograd state that the transfer of executive powers and military commands is proceeding without conflict. No member of the Imperail Family will be allowed to_ hold any position in the army or the civil administration.
THE ARMY'S SPIRIT. CKEERSNG MESSAGE OF FSDELSTY. Reuter's Telegrams. PETROGRAD, March 26. (Received March 27, at 5.20 p.m.).* An excellent sign of the times is the arrival of enthusiastic deputations and messages from the trenches assuring- the country that it can rely upon its defenders. One regiment's message says : " An inconclusive end to the war would cover Russia with eternal shame. The New Russia must not stampede through treachery. You have defeated the internal enemy; let us conquer the foreign foe."
