The increase in price has been rendered necessary owing to the heavy advance in the landed cost of printing paper and other burdensome increases in the cost of newspaper production due to conditions arising out of the war. ' The Proprietors of the Dunedin Daily Papers regret havine to make this intimation, and in doing so desire to inform the public that the increased charge only partially covers the loss publication at the present price entails.
