QUEEN'S THEATRE
"Tho Maequeraders," in which Miss Hazel Dawn and Mr Elliott Dexter appear, forms tho special attraction at the Queen's Theatre for the early part of the week Dulcie Larondiers is the daughter of a blue-blooded family which has become reduced in circumstances. She eventually goes as a barmaid and is> inclined to Jook with favour upon a worthless individual in the person of Sir Brice, although she is very truly loved by David Rcmon. In order to provide financial assistance for the family of a man vdio has died in poverty a raffio is to be held at tho Staff Inn, and Dulcio is induced to sell a kiss to the highest bidder. David makes a tremendous effort to buy the kis« but is outbid by Sir Brico. who at the samo time offers his hand in marriago to Dulcie which, to David's horror, is accepted. The pair are married, but their married life is anything but a happy one. Sirßrice comes out in his true colours, and tho end of the story is reached when David, at the jraminotable, wins Dulcie, to whom his affection has never waned. The picture is well supported by others.
