LONDON, March 25. A French, communique states: There is
little change north of Soissons, which town the German long-range guns are bombardx - ing. There is lively artillery work along the Aisne at Berry-au-Bao and Rheims, also in Alsace. We made further progress north- of the Grand-ser-Ancourfc-St. Quentin road. We advanced appreciably north, of Chauny and on the east bank of the Ailette. We con- , solidated the positions there and in the region north of Soissons. We seized portions of trenches east of Melancourti Wood, west of the Meuse. Yesterday's prisoners belong to seven' different regiments, .There ,is great mutual activity in aerial bombing. The Germans bombed Dunkirk and Calais, doing a small amount of damage. Poincare, the President, accompanied by the Ministers of Wax, Interior, ind Labour, with many Senators and Deputies, visited Noyon, Guiscards, Ham, Nesle, and Roye.. M. Ribot, the Premier, announced that the Government was collecting evidence, in order to protest to neutrals against Germany's barbarous acts in. the' evacuated territory. ;
PRUSSIAN PRINCE WOUNDED. AND A PRISONER. PARIS, March 25. King Alfonso of Spain has telegraphed to Prince Leopold of Prussia that his son Prince Friedrich Carl received a serious bullet wound in the stomach during a recent aerial flight.
GERMAN REPORT. Admiralty, per Wireless Press. LONDON, March 25.
German official: South-easfc of Ypres we advanced and found the British trenches destroyed and evacua'ted. Our protecting troops gave wdy in accordance with instructions at Beaumetz, Roisel, and eastward of the Crozat CanaL Wβ repulsed the French at Vregny and pierced the French lines at Soupercerney. Our aeroplanes destroyed 17 AngloFrench machines.

Haig reports: Wβ improved our position west of CroisiUes and entered enemy trenches north-east of Loos. We ejected raiders who entered our trenches west of Hulluch. \ There were many air. fights. Eight German machines were brought down, and four of ours are missing.
