FILLING UP THE GAPS. A special carriage attached to the second express for the north yesterday took with it 31 leave-expired men to fill up vacancies in the ranks of tho Twenty-fifth Reinforcements. Twenty-five of these came from Lrveroargill, three from Milton, and three from Dunedin. Sergeant-major Meado was in charge of tho party, which left here quietly, without any formal public leavetaking. The names of the Milton and Dunedin men aro as follow:— William Francis Dougherty. David Muir. John Alexander Maxwell, Alfred Nelson. Alexander Mathioson Sanderson. Frederick Ballintino Wrishk
