LONDON, January 29. (Received Jan. 30,. at 6 p.m.) Sir L. S. Jameson, replying to an objection that the Empire Resources Development Committee proposals implied State Socialism, said we were tending that way both since and before the war. It was necessary to see tihat State Socialism with the proper label took a right direction,. It was hopeless to make the Development Committee out of the existing Civil Service Committee. It must consist of the captains of industry.
