RUSSIA'S TRADE ASPIRATIONS. CLOSER ECONOMIC UNION. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association PETROGRAD, December 27. M. Poulrowslti, Foreign Minister, declared that a close economic union between the Allies after the war would give freedom to Russian trade, which had been paralysed owing to commercial treaties with Germany. The Minister added that Russia's relations with Japan were assuming tho character of an alliance. Japan had rendered eminent service in providing munitions.
