N.E. VALLEY WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION. The attendance and interest in this branch continue to be well maintained. Ho following is the list of work completed during the last fortnight:—2B pairs socks, 27 balaclavas, 23 housowifes, 39 handkerchiefs. 8 suits pyjamas, 60 service bags. For Red Cross: 2 dozen pairs ward slippers, lOi dozen bandages, 2 dozen swabs, 9 pillowcases, 5 limb rests, 7 serviettes. 8 boxes old {men. The contribution of work for November from the school pupils (per Miss Andrew) was as follows: 6 pairs socks. 1 pair cuffs, 32 girdles, 43 housewife,*, 17 towels, 73 handkerchiefs.

The association donated £10 towards *he motor ambulances for New Zealand wounded soldiers. As next Thursday is the last meeting for this year, and there is a. great deal wo fk ' ;ie finished off, it is most-.impor-tant that all members should bo presofrt.
SADDLE HILL WOMEN'S
ASSOCIATION.
The Saddle Hill branch of the Women's Patriotic Association met as usual on Wednesday afternoon. The work done consisted principally of knitting. A large number of socks and balaclavas, handkerchiefs, and bags were handed in. Donations from the following were received:—Mrs Hill, ss; Mra W. Connor. ss; Miss C Davidson, 2s; school children—s2 face cloths, 6 girdles, 8 pairs cuffs.
