The Paris correspondent ot the Daily Mai! writes : There has been three days' desperate fighting at the northern part ot (iuiileinont. The enemy are defending the position with the courage of despair, iml our men, attacking with invincible obstinacj, gained ground. A British patrol made its way into Martinpuich village, which is at our mercy.
