A big effort is being made to-night and to-morrow night to convince those eligible men who have not yet offered their scr\iccs that the time is opportune for them to do so. Over 1056 of our boys from the training are in Dunodin, and their pro senco must make for good results in recruiting ; when one sees how well set up thoe men are, and the good_ they have derived f?orn the systematic training, it makes one wonder why so many hold back. Tonight the meeting will be addressed by tho Rev W. A. Hay and Dr Marshall, and thoip attending may be sure that straight and powciful addresses will be given. Tomorrow night tho Rev. S. G Griffith and Mr J. Ingli* Wright will speak. Tho mus c to-night will b" supplied by the Albany Street School Band, and that of to-morrow night by the National Reserve Band.
