M'Kcnzie, of Gore, who If ft with tho Main Body of tho Expeditionary Force, and returned to Now land last year in command of the invalided soldiers by the Willochra, hae cabled to his uita stating that he will leavo London for Xc-n Zealand on July 27. Major M'Kenzie, after spending somo six weeks at home, returned to the front in September in command of tho Maoii Contingent and was appointed to the 2nd Infantry Brigade on arrival in Egypt. He has participated in the fighting in Franco since Apiil. CAPTAIN P. E. WOODHOUSE. At tho meeting of tho University Council on Tuesday it was resolved that the council oilers its warm congratulations to Mrs J. F. Woodhouso on tho award of tho Military Uro.-i> to her son Captain P. S Paterson, of Dunedin, has been ad\ isod that his eldest son, Lieutenant John Rutherford Paterson, has been wounded. Lieutenant Paterson, ■who is 30 years of age, and unmarried, leit with tho Sixth Reinforcements. He .s ;n ex-pupil of the Otaco Boys' High School, and a graduate of Otago Unhcrsitv, having taken his B.A. degree in 1906. Ho was an active member of the Otago Hussars, and assisted in tho conduct of his father's business prior to enlisting.
