The return from tho Ahaura dredge last week was 240z for four and a-halt days' dredging. The oid Greenstone Syndicate dredge and the Stafford dredge aro being dismantled (says tho Kumara Times), and aio to be reconstructed on the Kapitea. Tho manager of the New Sylvia mine, Thames, reports that he has crushed 450 tons of ore for a return of bullion valued at £415. Tho concentrates yielded £300, making a total return of £715.
