Passengers by the' Moana, which < arrived 1 at Wellington on Thursday night, included Mr Paul Dufault and the Kev. M. Molineux, ex-naval chaplain and an international footballer. who toured Australia with the English team a few years ago. The Rev. Mr > mount ux nas ooen lately in charge of the Seamen's Mission in San Francisco, and has come to New Zealand to enlist for war service. : . • The Kev. Dr .Tohn Elliott, late principal Australian Chapman-Alexander Institute, . Adelaide, arrived in Dunedin on Thursday night from the north. Dr Elliott is eonducting conferences and meetings under the auspices of the Young Men's Christian Asso- * ciations throughout the dominion. He addressed meetings at the Sunday . School Workers' Conference at the Burns' Hall yesterday. To-day he will proceed to the Presbyterian Bible Classes' camp ait Wyndham. Next week he will cobduct meetings in the south in connection with the local associations. Hj will return to Dunedin in 7 May, and a good' of meetings has been arranged for this visit.
