It has been arranged by The Commercial Bank of Australia (Limited) to establish another branch in the dominion by opening at Tiniaru. Premises have been sooured in Stafford street by Mr 11. G. Maekay, inspector, and it is hoped that the branch will be opened about Bth May under the management- of Mr C. S. Bevoridgo, formerly of Broken Hill. This will. make the sixth branch, the others being- Wellington, Auckland, Christchureh, Dunedin, and Wanganui.—ll/4/16, — The camel derives nourishment from the fat of its hump.
