FREE KINDERGARTEN ASSOCIATION.

The monthly meeting' of the oommittee of the Dunedin Free Kindergarten Association ■was held on Thursday; present—Mrs Ulrich (in the chair), Mesdamea Kahlenberg, Gilkisonj Macasscy, Loudon, Hallenstein, M'Lean, Smith, Glendining, Ross, Sidey, Cameron, > Allen, Misses Hutchison, KcJscy, and the secretary. While Miss Jerome was in Dunedin she waa taken to see the Reynolds Kindergarten, and presented it with five guineas, which, it was deleted, should bo spent on kalflomininjy the building:, Mr Mandeno having kindly offered to supervise the work. " Miss Brickell reported that the mothers of the Yaralla children had presented the kindergarten with a very fine Union Jade. Miss Goldsmith reported that the CaTor6ham children had made some jam and sent one tin to a "Tjanely Soldier/' with a note attached telling who it was from.
