DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. There has not been much movement in prices during the past week, and a fair amount of business has been transacted, particularly in Union Steams and Dominion Rubbers. Electrics ore regularly wanted at'3s 6d, and offered at 4s 3d. For Rise and Sliinee £1 7s is offered, and £1 6s 6d for Rising- Suns, but there are no lots offering. Talismans have recovered a shade,' and were asked for at 12s yesterday, but holders were firm at 12s 3d. Buyers of Waihis offer £1 14s 6d. For Grand Junctions 18s was offered, but they were not to bo had under 19s 3d. There is a steady demand for Bank of Australasias at £115, but none are, offering. National Banks ere to bo had at £5 4s, and £5 2fe is offered 1 for them. Yesterday old Bank of New Zealands were wanted at £10 lis, and the new issue at £16 12s. Business was done in Union Banks on Thursday at £51 15s. and 2s 6d less is now offered for them. A sale of National Insurance shares was reported on Thursday at £2' lis. Yesterday £2 10s 8d was offered for them, sellers quoting £2 12s 6d. South British Insurances are in demand at £5, and Standard at £1 16s 6d, with sellers quoting £1 18s 9d. Union Steams have fallen considerably since Saturday, when several parcels changed hands at £1 9s Bd, but. they seem now to] bo holding firm at about £1 9s. On Monday they were sold at £l 9s 6d, and on Wednesday at £1 9s 3d, and yesterday morning three parcels were bought at £1 9d. In the afternoon there were buyers at that price, but sellers advanced to £1 9s 9d. Tho preference issue were wanted at £1 0s lid, and offeredi at £1 Is 2d. Westport Coals are in demand at £1 8s 6d. Westport-Stocktons are quoted at 5s Id and 5s 4d, for buyers and sellers' respectively. Buyers of preference D.l.C.'s offer £1 0s 4d. Dominion Rubbers were sold last Saturday at £1 13s 6d, and have since been disposed of at £1 13s. Yesterday the market was close, - buyers offering £1 13s, and sellers asking 3d more. Milburn Limes were on the market at £1 14s, and buyers were offering only 3d less. National Mortgages arc offered at £3 17s 6d, arid New Zealand Drugs at £2 4s 6d. Buyers are offering £6'3s'for Whitcombe and Tombs, and £7 18s for ordinary Wright, Stephensons, but there are no sellers declared Sale.—Union Steam, £1 9s (three parcels).
