THE WEATHER
After extremely hot weather on Thursday a little rain fell at night. Several showers, some of ihem being fairly heavy, were experienced yesterday, but the weather cleared in the evening.
(From Oun Own Correspondents.) MOSGIEL, April 7. _ A light rain fell to-dav on the Taieri, and freshened up vegetation a good deal. GALLOWAY, April 7. , Tho rainfall registered here for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. was 10 points.
