Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, as under:— THIS DAY (SATURDAY), APRIL 8. For Australian States and South Africa, per s.s. Victoria, from Auckland, at 10 a.m. Late-fee letters C.P.O. 10.30 a.m, and guard's van till 11.14 a.m. For Rarotonga and Tahiti, by North Express at 10 a.m. Late-fee letters C.P.O. 10.30 a.m., and guard's van at 11.15 a.m. MONDAY, APRIL 10. For Niue, per North Express at 10 a.m. Late-fee letters C.P.O. 10.30 a.m., and guard's van at ILIS a.m. TUESDAY. APRIL 11. For _ Australian States, also Pago Pago, Expeditionary Force (Egypt), South Africa, Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europo (due London May 24), (correspondence to De specially addressed via Suez), per Riverina, by North Express at 10 a.m. Late-fee letters C.P.O. 10.30 a.m., and guard's van till 11.14 a.m.
Money orders for places within the dominion close one hour before advertised time of closing letter mails. Money orders for places beyond the dominion for despatch by the North or South Express close at 4 p.m. tho previous day. Registered mails close one hour before advertised time of closing ordinary mails. Book packets, commercial papers, and newspapers close half an hour before the advertised time of letter mails.
