CALEDONIAN SOCIETY
SCHOOLS' CHAMPIONSHIP SPORTS.
In numerical ensemble effect the massed schools' display, which is one of the features of the fourth annual schools' championships gathering, to be held on the Caledonian Ground to-morrow (Saturday) afternoon will probably eclipse anything heretofore attempted in the dominion. Everything points to the attendance constituting a record. Great enthusiasm has been displayed, not only by the scholars and head masters of the various schools, but by the parents and publio generally. Apart from the massed display and gymnastic exhibitions by the pupils of the Otago Roys'_ High School, patrons will be catered for in almost every Branch of sport. Music will be discoursed by the Band of the Fourth Regiment (by permission of Colonel M'Ara).
