THE SPELTER DIFFICULTY.
GERMANY LOOKING AHEAD. CONTROL OF SPANISH x MINES. LONDON, April 5. (Received A.p;ril 6, at 8.30 p.m.) The spelter qnestion is emphasised by the* news on a most reliable autho. rity that' the spelter works in Belgium are working four days a week under German control, a stock of G3,000 tons having been accumulated there. Also, the Germans, in order to secure a supply of ore after the war, are buying large quantities in Spain and contributing to the fnture output from the mines.
