— One of tho effects of tho war has been to introduce women workers in many industries hitherto occupied almost entirely by male workers. In Australia tho fact that women should bo encouraged in this direction along certain- lines has already been recognised, and it is expected that Government institutions for training women in horticulture, floriculture, poultry-farming, and kindred occupations will soon be ready. Women will bo in charge of these instita tions, and accommodation will be provided tax 100 women at each institution.
