The Bank of England report shows that the stock of gold coin and bullion represents £53,413,000; reserve, £39,006,000; proportion of reserve to liabilities, 27.49; notes in circulation, £33,014,000; public deposits, £50,182,000; other deposits, £91,676,000; Government securities, £18,895,000; other securities, £101,761,000. The discount on short loans is 4§ per cent.; on three months' bills, per cent. The following are the-prices for Government stocks as compared with those ruling a week ago : — Nov. 11. Bradford Wool.—The market was strong; sixty-fours, 38^d; supers, 37^d; common sixties, 36£ d; fifty-sixes, 34d; fifties, 30£ d; forty-sixes, 26£ d; forties, 24id.
