Perhaps what is a record for recruiting for Now Zealand has been achieved by the family of Mr Counihan, of Pleasant Point (says the Timaru Post). He has already six sons serving with the colours, and the seventh son left Timaru on Tuesday wiih the 10th Reinforcements.
