"TTME AGREEMENTS." AX IMPORTANT DECISION. (Peb tlw-rirn Prrhs Association.) • WELLINGTON. November 19. An important decision has been given by the Crown Law Office relating to Miction 63 of the Shipping and Seamen Act, dealing with what are known as "time agreements." The effect of the decision is that shipowners will have to make arrangements for crews of ships having time agreements, no matter where the shins are trading, to pay the men every month instead of giving them an advnnoe only and paying them in full when the return voyage is finished.
