Acceptances for the first day of the Forbury Park Trotting Club's meeting will close this evening. It is understood that Mr L. C. Hazlett will act as fitarter at the Forbury Park meeting. Mr Hazlett wis very successful when ho acted in a similar position to the club some years ago. and, if lie embaxked professionally in that direction, thero is no doubt he would soon create a monopoly in that direction, as far as the South Island is concerned. Mr Hazlett, however, has large business interests which prevent him from participating m raoing, except from a point of view.
