The authorities at the eleventh, ■ X hour banned the performance of a play by a Russian dramatist named, Evreihoff sentitled " The Theatre of the Soul." It is described as an intellectual effort, and J typically Russian. No reason was given for the suppression, trtit it is understood. that Queen Mary's .advisers, considered that it was inappropriate, and her Majesty -J'-,. cancelled her arrangements to attend.
