EGs Honor Mr Justice Sim 6at in Chambens yesterday morning. Probate was granted in the estates of the following deceased persons:—Margaret Georgina Stevenson Barclay, William Pagan, Thomas Muir, William Soltau Pillans, and George Morgan. Letters of administrations were granted in re Sinclair Korner, Sheddon Brugh, and Margaret Thomson Harrison (decea«cd). In rei John Harland (deceased).—Petition to discharge executors and appoint; Public Trustee (Mr White); accounts referred to Registrar; further hearing of petition adjourned. . State Advances to Settlers Superintendent v. M'Cormaok. —Motion for loave to exercise power of sale (Mr J. R. Sinclair). — Order giving leave in terms of summons; costs, seven guineas; disbursements to be mortgagee's costs. In re Elizabeth M'Creedie (decoaeed).— Motion for directions aa to sending in claims (Mr Callan). —Directions given as suggested. His Honor also sat in bankruptcy to hear a petition to adjudicate Alexander William Robinson, of Lovells Flat, farmer, a bankrupt. The petitioning creditor was William Moore, of Milton, merchant, who was represented by Mr G. H. Thomson. The petition showed that the amount due was £31 14s 3d, balance of an unsatisfied judgment; that a distress warrant had been issued, and a return made "no effects." Mr W. L. Mooro appeared for the debtor, and an order for adjudication was made by consent.
