The District Traffic Manager wrote stating that he would endeavour to meet the wishes of the committee by allowing passengers to get into tho first train from the course earlier than in the past. An application for a donation was received from tho Hospital Saturday Association, and it was decided to reply that the club could not comply with the request, as all the profits for the season were earmarked for the Wounded Soldiers' Fund. Captain Shand applied for the use of the grounds and buildings at Wingatui for the camp of the sth Mounted Regiment from April .7 to April 19.—Granted, subject to control by the chairman of the Works Committee.
