RELIEVING CLERKS FOR SERVICE.
WOMEN REQUIRED. LONDON, November 15. (Received Nov. 15,' at 11.30 p.m.) The Departmental Committee of Advice oh. the employment of women has issued an interim report, which states that clerks of a military age number 300,000, of whom at least half are available for military service, and' the bulk of the substitutes for them must be women. The committee recommends chambers of commerce and educationalists in leading centres to organise and train women for clerics as soon as possible.
