SEVERE GERMAN LOSSES.
SUPERIORITY OF RUSSIAN ARTILLERY. v PARIS, November 13. •■ (Received Nov. 14, at 5.5 p.m.) The Petit Journal's Petrograd cor= respondent describes the German losses in the' Riga region as continue ously severe. Soldiers and officers enter battle completely drunk. He adds: " Thanks to superior artillery, the Russians have pierced the Aus= tro=Gerraan front between Budka and Kolki."
FIGHTING ON RIGA FRONT. WAIST-DEEP IN MARSHEb. THE RUSSIANS SUCCESSFUL. PETROGRAD, November 13. (Received November 14, at 3.30 p.m.) A communique indicates that there has been severe fighting on the Riga, front. The Russians, after 11 days' constant fighting, waist-deep in the' marshes, captured Kemmem. HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORTS. RUSSIAN ADVANCE CONTINUES. LONDON, November 13 (7.30 a.m.). The High Commissioner reports: West of Ragatsem the Russians advanced, taking Kemmern and Antinge. There was heavy fighting at the farm of Bersamunde, near Excul, when 10 fierce attacks were repulsed. West of Rafalovka 250 prisoners were taken. GERMAN LOSSES-NEAR SCHLOCK. LONDON, November 14 (9.45 a.m.). The High Commissioner reports: Petrograd reports state that the Russians pursued the enemy in' the Schlock repion on November 12, inflicting big losses.
