DEATHS.

CANNING.—On November 12 1915, little Jim, only son of Mr and Mrs Bert Canning, Melbourne street, Queenstown; aged 4 years. CUMMINGS.—On November 14, at Ranfurly, James George, eldest son of Ellen and the late James Henry Cummings. Private interment. —Hugh Gourley, undertaker. HIGHET.—On November 14, at the Duncdin Hospital, Robert James, the dearly beloved eldest son of Dorothy and the late Robert Highet, of Palmcrston; aged 18 years.—The Funeral will leave the Residence of his mother for the Palmcrston Cemetery To-morrow (Tuesday), the 16th inst., at 2 p.m.—Hope and Kinaston, undertakers, 30 St. Andrew street. MUIR.—On Sunday, November 14, 1915, at his residence, "Springbank," Maungatua, Thomas Muir, late of Kirkswald, Ayrshire, Seotland; in his ninety-second year. SMITH.—On November 14, at his residence, 17 Helenburgh road, Halfway Bush, John, the beloved husband of Christina Smith; aged 51, years. Deeply regretted. IN MEMORIAM.
