OTAGO WOMEN'S PATRIOTIC ASSOCIATION.
The thanks of the association are due l-o Mr li. Nets lor his donation of a stepladder, which will prove very useful to the workers in* the storeroom. Donations of (lowers made into shilling bunches and buttonholes will be gratefully received at tlio Early Settlers' Hall on Saturday morning. These will be sold at the art exhibition in tho Art Uallery Hall. On Saturday afternoon tea will be served at a nominal charge by. ladies connected with the association, and it is hoped that there will bo a very large attendance, as half the gross proceeds from the ■ whole exhibition will go to provide comforts for onr soldiers.
On Guy. Fawkcs night a number of children at Waikouaiti collected for the Soldiers' Fund. They oollected 20s, of which has been donated to the Leather. Waistcoat Fund and 10s to tho local ladies' Patriotic Fund.
